Goodwill Dump Buys

Hello Everyone!

I know it's been a while since I've posted anything but as we all know life happens and you get busy.  But today I want to share the goodies I bagged at the Goodwill dump. That's what I call the Goodwill Outlet over on Berry Drive in Nashville. I call it the dump because they dump all the stuff in big carts and boxes. If you like a scavenger hunt this is it.

You never know what you will find. Sometimes it's brand new stuff and sometimes it's an oldie but a goodie. Here's a picture of the latest "stuff."

So let me tell you what all I got for $5.08 tax included. The purple roll is lavender scented drawer liner sheets.. Smells really good. The pink Christmas wrapping paper is almost a full roll and it's 36 inches wide. This will be great for those bigger packages. The little Juicy Fruit tin will work to put money in for a gift to a child or adult you are trying to fool. The really small gift bag will work for for a gift card. Now for the cutest ever...A snowman that's a countdown to Christmas calendar. You move his nose to the number of days left until Christmas. But wait there is more.

Oh, there is a picture frame. I have a plan for that and I'll post about it later. You can get picture frames really cheap at the dump. This one has the glass too. Then the finale'. It's a Thirty One bag. It's a small one but I don't believe it has ever been used. Wow! I think it will work to keep some sewing supplies in when I'm ready to go out the door to a sewing bee.

Honestly, where can you get such good stuff for spending about 45 minutes scouring through some bins and boxes. But I do understand if you are not a hunter. As a Thrifty Sissy we have to keep our eyes open and be ready to bag a bargain no matter where it is.

It's good to be back online and I appreciate you stopping by. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and you are ready for a Happy Thrifty New Year!!!
