A Little Taste of Spring

It only takes a little sliver of warm weather to bring out the spring in me. While I don't want to get out the rabbits and chickens, it is a treat to set a little something out. I decided to find the ribbon plate ( don't know what else to call it) and get out the dry erase markers. I found some happy ribbon in the ribbon box, added a bumble bee spring flower pic, rolled it all together, wrote a "cutesie" saying on the plate and here you have it. A cookbook holder works great to hold the plate.

 

If you don't have one of those ribbon plates, you can use any sort of plate.You can tie a bow and use scotch tape to attach it to your plate. The dry erase markers will work on them. Check around the house for some bright ribbon and maybe there is a couple of stray flowers laying around you could add to your decoration. No worry, remember you are a creative Thrifty Sissy. Just try something. It only has to be beautiful to you and the more you do creative things the more you will be able to do.
