Here is a great idea for those old mason jars you have around the house.You can take some ribbon or strips of burlap or lace and hot glue it around the middle of the jar. Then tie some twine around the top. You can use this as a pencil holder or a vase for spring flowers or fill it with candy. I embroidered my initial on this piece of ribbon but you could stack two different widths of ribbon for the decoration or hot glue some decorative buttons on the front. I used the quart size jar. I could see using a couple of different size jars and putting candles in them for the patio table. This ribbon came from Hobby Lobby. They have several colors of this chevron pattern as well as some with other embellishments.
Let's get those jars out and get creative!
